Should you use condoms?

Is PrEP for you?

This online tool helps men decide whether in the future to choose condoms, PrEP, both of them or neither of them (don't worry if you don't know about PrEP, the tool will tell you). If you already know what you want to do the tool will help you think about your choice. At the end you'll be asked what you thought about the tool.

You must be on a desktop browser with flash enabled for the survey site to work.

How long will it take?

Making this important decision is worth taking some time over. You can work through the tool in about 20 minutes, or you can take more time if you want to work through it slowly.

Why should I take part?

This is a test of the tool and your taking part will improve it before it goes on line. Men making the best choice for themselves will increase the liklihood they get better sex with less harm. By taking part you might learn something new.

Who is running this test?

The tool was jointly developed by Sigma Research (at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, University of London) and GMFA (the gay men's health charity) and this test is also being jointly run. The tool development is funded by Public Health England. The test has been approved by the ethics committee of the London School of Hygiene. If you want more information about the tool you can call Ford Hickson at Sigma Research on 020 7927 2791.
