Seán is a specialty doctor in sexual health and HIV medicine at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital. He has volunteered with HERO/GMFA since 2011 and joined the board of directors in September 2016. As a volunteer he has facilitated workshops and contributed to FS Magazine as a member of the editorial team. He ran the Paris Marathon for HERO/GMFA in 2013 and has rattled buckets for World AIDS Day.

Seán serves as the Doctors in Training representative to the BASHH Education board and is a member of BHIVA's external relations subcommittee. He holds post-graduate diplomas in Genitourinary Medicine, Sexual & Reproductive Health and Tropical Medicine. He is currently undertaking a part-time Masters in Medical Education at UCL.

Outside of work, Seán spends most of his time trying not to lose followers on Twitter. He has run six marathons but is probably getting too old and lazy to run any more. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of pop music and has a Spotify playlist for literally every conceivable need.
