  • GMFA Strategy 2016-2019

GMFA Strategy 2016-2019

We have been campaigning for better gay men’s health since 1992. Despite significant improvements in legal, social and political equality for gay men in the last 20 years, there is still a lot to do to ensure gay men have health equality.

This is why GMFA exists.

Over the next three years we will work to:

  • Eradicate new HIV infections among gay men.
  • End HIV-related stigma.
  • Ensure gay men have access to information and support to enable them to make the best health choices for themselves.
  • Improve gay men’s sexual health.
  • Support gay men to live emotionally and physically healthy lives.

Why mental health matters this World AIDS Day.

It’s been quite the year, hasn’t it? I don’t think anyone could have woken up on 1 January 2020 and imagined for one second what this year had in store for us. COVID-19 has brought lockdowns, isolation, loneliness, sadness and deaths of loved ones.
