Positive East is is organising the Red Run for this World AIDS Day. Those taking part in the 5K and 10K run around Victoria Park in Hackney will be raising funds for HIV services in London. One of those runners includes our very own CEO, Matthew Hodson.

"I expect you all know how passionate I am about HIV prevention, improving sexual health for gay and bi men and challenging HIV stigma," explains Matthew.

"Too much of GMFA's work - FS magazine, our website - receives no Government funding and we depend on donations and events like this to keep these running. Our website is the most popular sexual health resource for UK gay men, and it's pretty big around the world too. If I hit my target, that will pay for us to provide information to over 50,000 visitors. So I'm raising funds for my own charity because I believe in our work."

We need your support to keep these vital services and resources running for gay men in London and across the UK. You can do so by donating to Matthew's appeal page or signing up for the race and running for GMFA.
