GMFA – the gay men’s health charity

GMFA LogoGMFA believes that health promotion for gay men is fundamentally enhanced when community-members take a central role in the development and delivery of projects.

Volunteers contribute to the design and delivery of our interventions by joining groups within GMFA. Our current groups are organised to produce mass media health promotion, leaflets, a magazine, a portfolio of websites, groupwork and community interventions. In addition to groups focused on methods of intervention, GMFA has two groups which work with specific target groups, namely men with HIV and Black gay men.

THT (Terrence Higgins Trust)

The first step towards becoming a Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) volunteer is to contact a service centre near you. Just call or email your local centre and a volunteer coordinator will help you. There is one volunteer office in London, which coordinates voluntary work across THT's London centres.
