GLAM
GLAM (Gay, Lesbian and MENSA) is a UK-wide social group for MENSA members. The group, which has been running since 1978, meets at the end of the month for a midweek meal in London, and organises a Sunday lunch somewhere within easy reach of London between the 11th and 19th of each month. It also has weekend events - such as trips to The Lake District and murder mystery evenings. There are approximately 80 members in the group and a good mix of ages and genders. Annual membership includes a monthly newsletter, and other costs include own travel and accommodation. You must be a member of MENSA to join; for MENSA membership information, see www.mensa.org.uk.
