Dance Out Loud

Dance Out Loud is a Five Rhythms dance involving movement, meditation and ecstatic dance. It's an open class for the gay community and their friends. Bodhi doesn't teach dance - he teaches movement that frees the body from stagnation. Five Rhythms releases energy and reconnects us to our dance, breaking down stereotypes.

Dance Out Loud is a weekly Five Rhythms movement/dance drop-in class. The group welcomes everyone who respects diverse sexuality and wants to dance. There are up to 20 like minded people along. The Five Rhythms is a simple movement practice designed to release the dancer that lives in every body, whatever your shape, size, limitations, age or experience.

There is no membership fee and The Gay Gordons is not about how well you can dance - many members believe they have two left feet. Beginners are welcome - all dances are explained, so no knowledge or expertise is needed. Beginners are also encouraged to dance with someone who knows what they're doing.
