GMFA's Guide To Gay Sports Clubs And Social Groups

Classic Cars

Gay Classic Car Group

The Gay Classic Car Group (GCCG) provides an opportunity for gay classic car enthusiasts to share their interests. It was established in 1988, and now has over 400 members across the UK. Each year the club offers a lively programme of events, typically involving a cross-country drive with a pub lunch and a visit to some place of interest. Like their cars, members vary in age, condition and performance, so all are welcome!

The GCCG maintains international links with sister clubs in Europe, the USA, and Australia, with at least one European trip each year. Besides the website, all members receive a quarterly colour magazine, a regular email bulletin, and there are monthly meets at pubs across the country. Ownership of a classic car is not necessary. Some members have five or more; many have none. Most members often need a navigator or can offer rides.
