Title: Positive Gay Guide

Looking after yourself

In this section we look at how looking after your day to day health can really help you and your body to cope better with HIV and anti-HIV drugs. You’ll find information about the possible effects that smoking, drinking and recreational drugs can have on your health, and on HIV and HIV treatment.

We also look at how a healthy balanced diet, regular exercise and proper sleep can help to keep your immune system as strong as possible. Finally you’ll find information about self-esteem and depression, and what to do if you feel you are experiencing problems with either of these.
