Welcome to the Positive Gay Guide
Welcome to GMFA's Positive Gay Guide. This website has been designed to be a comprehensive information resource for HIV positive gay men. The content was developed by a group of positive gay men at GMFA and throughout the site we have included their personal experiences of living with HIV, which we hope you'll find useful.
The information on this website aims to help you to live a happy and healthy life with HIV. Topics range from how HIV treatments work and the tests your clinic uses to monitor your health, to dealing with sex, relationships and telling people you have HIV. There's also practical information and advice on employment, your finances, looking after your health and travelling with HIV.
If you have been recently diagnosed, or don't know much about HIV, then the best place to start is the Just Diagnosed section.
The website has been built with HIV positive gay men in London in mind, and so the services we mention are mainly based in London. However, we hope that most of the information will be useful to HIV positive gay men around the world.
If you can't find the answer to your questions here, or if you have any other comments, then let us know by using the ‘Feedback on this page’ button underneath the menu on the left.
The information provided on the Positive Gay Guide website is designed to support, not replace the relationship that exists between you and your doctor. This website is run by GMFA and was made possible with an Embrace YouChoose Community Award.
