More info about counselling from East One clinic at the Ambrose King Centre

The East One clinic is at the Ambrose King Sexual Health centre, in the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. It has dedicated input from a clinical psychologist who is experienced in working with men who have sex with men, particularly on issues surrounding condomless sex.

It is possible for patients of the clinic to arrange a number of one-to-one sessions with the psychologist to talk about sex and relationships, to think about the things that influence the sex you are having, and to consider alternatives. Common themes in therapy include negotiating and maintaining relationships, enhancing assertiveness and self-esteem, managing difficult feelings, thinking about early experiences, problem-solving difficulties with sexual function, and keeping safe when using alcohol or other drugs.

To book an appointment for a sexual health check at the East One Clinic, please call 020 7377 7313. The clinic team will then be able to refer you to see the psychologist.
