Booklets covering a range of important health related subjects for gay men in London can be downloaded from this page.
Printed copies of most of the booklets featured on this page can be picked up free from the health information racks in gay bars and clubs around London.

Stop HIV
It is now more than 30 years since the first case of HIV was diagnosed. Since that time more than 50,000 gay men have been diagnosed with HIV in the UK. More than half of these were diagnosed in London. HIV has had a destructive impact on London’s gay community. Many lives have been lost. HIV infection remains highly stigmatised. Many HIV-positive gay men encounter both social and sexual rejection as a result of their HIV status. This is why it’s so important to stop the spread of HIV.
This booklet examines 5 simple actions that you can sign up to, which will prevent the further transmission of HIV.

We've gathered together some of the best advice from lots of gay men on what can make for great sex. 'Let’s Talk Sex' is packed with information and advice to keep the sex you have safe and fun - whether it is with casual partners, fuck buddies or a long-term boyfriend. Aimed at both HIV-negative and HIV-positive gay men, it includes information on avoiding risks with casual partners and fuck buddies, coming up with a plan to stay safe in relationships and talking openly about safer sex with your partners.
Hot Sex! - Tips for keeping safer sex hot sex!
Packed full of sizzling hot, graphic images of safer sex, 'Hot Sex' is a booklet about condom use in the style of a hardcore gay porn magazine. With page after page of explicit photos, 'Hot Sex' has lots of useful information on condom use and safer sex, and there's plenty of eye-candy on offer. Tested Negative
'Tested Negative' is a booklet that provides support for men who have just tested HIV negative, to help them to maintain their HIV negative status. It is filled with useful information and exercises to help men who have put themselves at risk and not been infected with HIV to avoid becoming infected in the future.

Wasted
'Wasted' Wasted is full of facts and information about drugs and alcohol. The booklet explores the reasons why gay men use drugs and alcohol and gives practical advice on how to cut down. It also explains which drugs don't mix and how to avoid having unsafe sex when you're using drugs and alcohol. There is a special section about how drugs interact with different HIV medications.

Semen, Sex, & HIV
'Semen, Sex & HIV' is a booklet which explains the role that semen plays in the transmission of HIV, and how to reduce the risks of passing on or picking up HIV during sex.
Good Sexual Health
'Good Sexual Health' is a pocket guide to sexually transmitted infections. The booklet also offers a guide to making an appointment at a sexual health clinic and includes details of clinics in London which run sessions specifically for gay men.
It is divided into sections, focusing on different regions of the male anatomy - the mouth, the glands, the pubes, the penis, the balls and the bum. Each section explains in simple language the symptoms of the most common STIs. Click on the image to open or download a PDF of this booklet.
