Other GMFA activities
In 2005-06 GMFA began a programme to encourage more gay men to participate in Patient and Public Involvement forums with local PCTs. So far GMFA has enabled over a hundred men to participate in consultation of one form or another with their local PCT.
As a response to the Crown Prosecution Service’s increased numbers of prosecutions against people for HIV transmission, GMFA conducted 1,000 online interviews of gay men to gauge the impact that these prosecutions might have on their future decision-making. The data will be analysed later in 2006.
